FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, I love to give good gifts to you. Do you think a parent would deliberately present you with a poisonous snake on your birthday? Of course not. In the same way, I delight in giving you the desires of your heart. Some of My gifts may not seem as good or perfect as others, but remember, miracles sometimes hide in the most ordinary places.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, I can celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays all year long—all because of Your generosity. Your gifts are perfect, always good, and always best for us. For gifts of friendship, family, health, and salvation—but mostly for the gift of Yourself, Lord—I give You thanks.

SIMPLE TRUTH
