Quote These Bible Verses - 03-07-08, 01:16 PM

As Christians we need to be able to quote Bible verses. We need this skill especially when we are on the street witnessing. Also, it would come in handy just in our daily conversation.

I will be posting new verses to remember daily or maybe weekly. To remember a Bible verse we need time and we need to focus on one Bible verse.

This Bible verse that I'm going to post first is a very important Bible verse. If you learn verse along with other verses you can lead someone to the Lord. Remember, ask God to help you be able to remember it by praying before you start.

Romans 10:9
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." KJV

First remember the verse number. Romans 10:9..say it over and over.

Alright, I will divide this verse up into 3 sections. A, B & C.

If you got the verse number down let's go on to the first part of the verse...

A.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

Say it over and over again until you get it.

Ok, now the next part of the verse...

B.
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,

How are you doing so far? Alright, the last part of the verse.

C.
thou shalt be saved.
thou shalt be saved.
thou shalt be saved.

Ok, now let's put that all together.

Romans 10:9

A.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

B.
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,

C.
thou shalt be saved.

Keep on saying it over and over as the day goes on. Wait a hour then see if you remember it. Then see if you remember it tomorrow. Remembering verses is a very important thing that we need to do as Christians. It is time to stop being lazy and put our extra time to use.

I hope this study will provoke you to remember other verses in the Bible and also help you when you're witnessing to the lost.

May God Bless you all

Romans 10:17
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." KJV

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm going to post another verse that is very important to know when witnessing to the lost. Before someone can get saved, they need to know they are a sinner. The Bible says that we have all sinned and because of our sin we need a Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" KJV

Alright, learn the verse number first, just like last time. It's good to know the verse number, so if you have a Bible you can also show the person that you are witnessing to the verse.

Romans 3:23
Romans 3:23
Romans 3:23

This verse is rather short so it I will divide it in just 2 parts. So this one should be easy to remember also.

A.
For all have sinned,
For all have sinned,
For all have sinned,

Amen to that huh? We're all sinners. It's good to know that Jesus' Blood cleansed us! ..Next part...

B.
and come short of the glory of God;
and come short of the glory of God;
and come short of the glory of God;

Say it over and over and over till you get it.

Alright, now put that verse all together and quote it.

Romans 3:23
A.
For all have sinned,
B.
and come short of the glory of God;

These might seem easy and that is because they are lol, but when you get in a situation and have some verses fresh in your head, it'll pay off and might even help you win someone to Christ.

God Bless

Verse for today...

Hebrews 9:27
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" KJV

After we die we don't have another chance to accept Jesus Christ. That's why we need to get saved now and lead others to Christ now, not when it is convenient for us. Don't wait another minute, you might not live for another minute. If you die without the Blood of Jesus, you'll lift your eyes up in Hell and burn forever and ever.

Hebrews 9:27
Hebrews 9:27
Hebrews 9:27

A.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
And as it is appointed unto men once to die,

B.
but after this the judgment:
but after this the judgment:
but after this the judgment:

God Bless
