Our Purpose: to show you the love of Jesus Christ, His promises of
Salvation & Blessings and to spread the Good News to the ends of the
Earth [Mark 16:15]. We're also here to edify the church
[Ephesians 4:11-12].
hello to u all brothers and sisters.pleace help me and make this clear to me and my friends by your contribution on this.the administrators are in cluded.there is this my friend that got married true our african traditon but he dit not wed in the church do he has recive the blessing of they perents,so my quastion is, how can God see the marrege, are they commiting adultry in God eye or are they truely married in Gods eye?secondly people that got married true this form but later wedded true mass wedding or blessed marrege.plc contribute God will bless u amen.
I believe that we need to be married legally, but there are some people that say the marriage ceremony is not really the marriage God sees. After the ceremony when the couple has intercourse, then they are considered one body. I'm not sure about this belief, but I wanted to throw it out. Maybe we can discuss this in further detail.
Right here we are told not to be part of a harlot. As Christians, we should marry other believers.
1 Corinthians 6:16
"What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh." KJV
Ephesians 5:31
"For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh." KJV
Whatever the case is. God knows the heart of people and he knows what is right and wrong.
In the eyes of the Government and by law they are married .
Was God present of course he was he's everywhere,
But Was he invited to the party ?
In this world we have so many beautiful cultures and traditions, but we can not get lost and forget God.
Not everyone choose to have the big white dress and tux, doesn't mean their marriage is not real.
Whether you bring in culture and traditon..the question for Christians is..
Did you invite God ?
Was he part of the celebration of thanksgiving ?
My wedding is not going to be in a church, I plan to get marry in a banquet hall.
If they are Christians, and their pastor wasnt present at the wedding they can have him over and do a special pray of thanksgiving.
I would not be around next week, to respond to any reply.
But I believe others will, I hope I was of help.
The key is inviting God into the celebrations.
