Thanks for this post, Chad. I sometimes think of the pain I've suffered in my life, much of which I brought on myself, and I fall into self pity. What a blessing it is to see a post like this and be reminded that "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (2 Cor 5:21)

Crucififixion nomally took days,jesus was only up on the cross 6 hours,one can make a solid aguemnt that he did not die on the cross.There are records of men surviving crucifixion early in the first century.There are other documents long ignored and suppressed by the church from the third century onward not from just middle east sources but also muslem hindu and buddhists records corfirm he survival without turning him into a buddhist,mulem or hindu,inall these documents he claims to be the mesiah of the jews and is siad to have lived to aleast 80,wothout the support of these documents it even leaves the exsistence of jesus in question with only 4 ancient passages left that don't upset the status quo.

MY LORD was Beaten soooo Bad , I would guess the beaten almost killed HIM.
HE did have a normal type body .
