Sounds all amazing to me.

In awe I stand in wonder, at the mere speech of it, something
incrediable will happen, but won't it be so incredible when the Lord
Jesus descends with a trump.

Oh what a glorious day, I don't think we can imagine what it will be
like at all.

Some days, when I look at the at the sky and there is a rare sight to
behold, I immediatly think, this could be the day, as much as my
loved one's aren't saved, they know they should be and they've all
heard the gospel, we can't drag them kicking and screaming to the
cross, they have been given free will, and they are exercising it.
More's the pity the wrong way.

Thank you Rog
but it does really get me excited when I draw my mind to
the 2nd coming of the Lord.

It really is incredible.

A girl I was listening to giving her testimony last nite on DVD from
our church, said before she was saved, she knew the Gospel, her
Mum and Dad were saved, and she came home this day, and found
they weren't in, she said when she stood in the house she immediatly
thought about the 2nd coming, and thought, 'what if they've been
raptured'.
What a glorious thought , it was this that brought her about to seek
the Lord, isn't it astounding also, the way the Lord Jesus situations,
even just an empty house to speak to someone.

I came across a letter one time on the web I think, and it was written
as if this person had been raptured and had written this with the
expectancy before hand, just to inform his family not to look for him.
I wish I had've copied it, I think, if I'm right, they were giving this out
in America to people, in case it should happen at any minute, which
it can do.

Some would think your nuts if you tried to tell them of this, more so
one's who don't believe or don't know the full Gospel.

It's given me another angle perhaps to approach my own, bringing this
up, as a sort of 'by the way if one day you find Ive disapeared, don't
panick but ......'

I wonder how long it will take for us to be, and before people and family
realize, any one have any wisdom on that?

what do you think?

Very wonderful, Maureen! I'm glad to see someone else feels that way, and is passionate about the Lord's return as I am. Although, what true follower of our Lord isn't? [: It's wonderful to be able to fellowship about this, as I'm surrounded by many unbelievers, so it is hard. And unfortunately I've had a falling away from the Lord, for quite some time, but I've found my way back to Him, and I'm going to work to stay with Him this time!!!

There's been many times when I looked at the sky and it just looked so magnificent, and I thought, "Today could be the day!!!" and yes I really hoped it would be, because these long days we've spent seperated from our Father is killing me, I long to be near Him so badly. But, we must realize He will come when the time is right. There's many signs that show that, that time is coming really soon, including dreams I've had, and I'm positive I'm not the only one who's had dreams about Jesus' second coming! What a glorious wonderful, awesome, day that will be!!!!

Oh ServantOfYHWH
How I was delighted to read those words of yours, 'found my way back' praise our God, that's what it's all about, not so much 'working' at it, but praying and clutching tightly to the hem of his garment.
In the valleys that's what it takes, don't be influenced by unbeilvers, I have them surrounding me also, they are my own family, I walk with Jesus holding me with a tight, sure fast, grip, He doesn't let go of us, we walk away from Him, He will let us go, He won't force us to do anything we won't do, He is so kind, gentle, oh dear theres so much more of Him.
but is'nt He always there with open arms to welcome us creatures home?

I know I couldn't make it in this life without him, and I wouldn't want to either.
Oh that He was even mindfull of us, I cannot comprehend it.
Oh brother, come to here, get encouragment from the family of God,
don't leave Him, He's altogether lovely.
I sing Hallelujah your back, and this time I know you will stay.

End times. - 02-09-08, 10:59 AM

Wow, I really enjoyed reading all the end time things. I do know about them but it's good to be reminded. I and many other Christians feel we are near the end when our glorious Saviour will return...then the beginning!!! I long for that time but at the moment I have a big fight against fear. I know Jesus told us not to but it is such a struggle for me. I cannot believe how the times have changed, it's like a different world since I was a child. My brother when he was a young lad said he had the feeling he would be here when Jesus returns...we shall see. I have been blessed to go to Israel three times, the first time was the day after the 6 day war ended and we were the first tourists to go into the old city from the Israeli side, even our Jewish guide had not been there and she was in tears. We even got into our local paper!
God bless you all.

I have not had the pleasure of it YET getting to the Holy Land, but perhaps in 2009 God willing it, there is a trip again, and maybe the Lord will plan it for us then, only He knows.

I have saw photos of all the differant places, and the only place I think seemed to be 'untouched' was the garden of Gethsemne, all else seemded to have been made into 'shrines' our Pastor confirmed this to me, and indeed it did put me off somewhat.

I still think I'd like to visit, but if it's in the Lord's will then it will be so.

The 'End Times' are interesting, as no-one knows, only God Himself when Jesus will return, I also know a 70year old lady who said she's not going to die she's going to be 'transported' so like you say yourself, we'll see.

end time prophecies - 02-16-08, 05:23 AM

Dear Maureen,

Amen sister.

I see so many of my family members that are not yet born again or that have drifted away from Gods perfect plan for their lives, but as you mentioned, we cannot drag them in, they have choices of their own.

God wants us to pray for them and then live the righteous life that the Lord requires to the best of our ability before them and then let God do the rest.

I look forward to seeing the Lord, I really am

come Lord Jesus , come quickly

Hi everyone

I was just wondering - where in the bible does it say about the rapture? I have been reading some amazing books on the end times and I couldnt find in my bible where the rapture was. I was wondering if it was Revelation 7:4-8?

God Bless
Sara
