Today at church, our pastor gave us a hypothatical example of people who fake faith and believing the lie they lied.
One day God was walking around in a garden with a man, and he spotted such a beautiful green tree, and he looked to the man and asked him:
"What do you think of this tree? How do you like it?"
The man stared in shock and nodded: "It's beautiful, there are no other tree that can compete!"
God answered: "It's deceiving though, if you look really close, I bet you will find no fruits on it."
The man walked around the tree, studying it and he looked disappointed:"that's true... it's strange."
God looked at him sadly:"You are like this tree, you walk around pretending to be good, very sweet to others and calm at church, but deep down, you are full of hatred and anger, your inside is not like your outside."
The man paused in sadness and added: "You are right... I fake being righteous, I fake being good, I'm sorry, I promise you that my inside will be as good as my outside from now on."
