Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Isa 49:18 Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.

Isa 49:26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Mat 26:61 And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of god, and to build it in three days.

Mat 27:40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of god, come down from the cross.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of god, and that the Spirit of god dwelleth in you?

1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of god, him shall god destroy; for the temple of god is holy, which temple ye are.
1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of god, and ye are not your own?
2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of god with idols? for ye are the temple of the living god; as god hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their god, and they shall be my people.

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called god, or that is worshipped; so that he as god sitteth in the temple of god, shewing himself that he is god.

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my god, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my god, and the name of the city of my god, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my god: and I will write upon him my new name.

Rev 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of god, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of god, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

    could u believe god is a girl ? a jealousy girl ?

Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord god Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

god want us as his children not sin......
    No.

God said, because of what Jesus did on the cross, that he would no longer look at our sin. Jesus Christ resurrected life in turn gives eternal life to those who believe, we are still sinful. Simply look at Romans 7 and see where St. Paul talks about the sin in his body. Now, go to Romans 8:1 and see what the answer he gives to that sin.

When you die and become before God, he will look at you and not see your sin but see Jesus Christ; he then will make you perfect. Perfection is a Spiritual State and is impossible for any human in the physical state, except of course Jesus!

And please do say that I think that I can just sin all I want and get away with it, a true "Born Again" Christian would never do that.

God has revealed many sins in my life that I have no desire to do again but that does not mean I am sinless. What it does mean is that I trust God to show me when I do sin and that he has already taken care of it at the cross!
" I'll see you here or I will see you up there or I will see you in the air"!.....Beam me up , Lord!

My spirit is perfect and goes to God when I die.
My soul is imperfect and needs saving.

I have been reading through the past few posts and I see the argument, it is exactly the same dispute that we have at church.
I cannot see a christain being perfect, BUT.. I do see a christain striving to be perfect FOR Jesus, not to just try to be perfect simply because you are a christain and think because you are a christain you have to be.
Everything that we do should be for the Lord and to bring glory to HIM.

I think that many scriptures can be taken either way, that we should be perfect, or that we cannot be perfect except through CHRIST. I believe that Jesus is the only way that we have. because HE is opur mediator to GOD the FATHER, and I just cannot see us being perfect here on earth. We live in an imperfect world, in imperfect bodies, in imperfect families, in imperfect jobs, I cannot see us not making mistakes and sinning... Howbeit not on purpose.

    Very good.

Yes, this drives non-believers and some others absolutely up the wall!! While still human and in the flesh, God calls us blameless, Holy and Righteous because when he looks upon us he does not see our sin but the perfection of Jesus Christ.
This is what makes our God unique above all others, in that he, in his devine and "perfect" wisdom created a path for us to be perfect and in his presence. Absolute perfection can not coexist with imperfection. The ancients knew and feared this since the time of Exodus. Look at Exodus 33: 18-23.

About the 3rd or 4th time that Moses had paid God a visit on Mt. Sinai, he just couldn't stand it any more and he asked God to show him his glory. This is the time that God made one of his famous quotes about himself: "No man can see my face and live".

The ancients feared this so much that the Highest Priest in the Temple; the only one who went into the innermost "Holy of Holies" during the 'Day of Atonement"....had a rope tied around his foot. This was just in case that if he died while behind the veil, he could be pulled out with out causing some other poor soul to perish.

Then look what Pauls says towards the end of the well known "Love Chapter in 1 COR 13:
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

This is when we die and go before God and we will finally see him "face to face", I can only imagine!!! This is the time that we will be filled with all the glory of the Holy Spirit and look, we will know God as fully as he knows us.

All your questions will be answered then my friend!
