I like this because in my life I had never had a true friend till meeting my best friend online 12 years ago. God brought us together and has been the foundation of our friendship for the past 12 going on 13 years now. We have shared the good times and laughed till our sides hurt and our eyes are watering and we have shared the bad times as well crying with each other and feeling each other's hurt and we have even gone through rocky times where our friendship was pulled like a rubber band about to break, but God mended our hearts and friendship and made it stronger than ever and Im so greatful for the friendship she and I share and that God brought us together as we like to say "forever friends" She is married now with a one year old little girl, but somehow she always finds time to call me once a week or email me online and I likewise do the same for her keeping in touch with her and yes we pray for each other and our families, friends and loved ones and we are able to freely share our love of Jesus with one another which means the world to me. I've learned that friendships like this don't come along everyday and when they do hold on to them and appreciate them and let your friend know you appreciate and love them. God blessed me when He brought two young women one from west virginia and one from pennsylvania together as friends...who would of thought I'd meet my best friend online...God knew...lol! Thank you Jesus for my best friend and the years we have shared together and Thank you for the many more years will have as friends.

Friendship is a rare thing. Something that if looked into deeper would not look like the thing that we usually describe it as.

A True Friend

A true friend does not always gives what is wanted, but what is needed
They warn when there is a pit, and even arrange for that pit to be reality
Not for the purpose of failure, but the purpose of victory

They will be there if failure happens. Giving what is needed at the right time
Always working to bring a solid footing by showing the quicksand of life
Never imposing their own will, but always in all things leaving a choice

Through all the rocks, rapids, and waterfalls, they take the bumps with grace
Knowing that in this place it is their very calling from the Greatest Friend of all
To work with those who are also called to run the race of faith.

I praise the Lord, even through the uncertain times
That He has brought these precious gems not for my own prestige
But for the furtherance of this soul through the One who died for me.
