DON'T GIVE UP

'You have great faith! Your request is granted' Matthew 15:28

I didn't care what people thought. I was desperate, and my daughter was not in a good way. I begged with him to help. At first he said nothing, completely ignoring me, but I was having none of his silence. Even when his friends pushed me aside and asked him to get rid of me! I was fuming - I was going nowhere.

If didn't help my daughter, we were out of options. Then he said he was 'busy.' Pah. I said, 'Help me!', and he replied, 'It's not right to take bread out of children's mouths and throw it to dogs.' Quick as a flash I told him, 'You're right... but begging dogs get scraps from the master's table!'

I figured he probably was busy, but getting just a scrap of help from this guy was worth a lifetime of help from a doctor. Then he looked at me and smiled. He said, 'Oh, woman... your faith is something else. What you want is what you'll get!' And my heart almost stopped. 'Thank you, thank you!' I shouted, already running back to my daughter. I arrived home. I found her well again, healthy and happy. He'd done it! I knew he could've!'

This woman knew Jesus was the one to help her, and even though He didn't answer the first time, even though His friends tried to get rid of her, she wouldn't give up.

What now? Do you ever feel like giving up on Jesus? Just a scrap of help from this guy is worth a lifetime of help from the world - and if you're not seeing God's answer just yet, don't give up!

i've been seeing this scripture a lot lately, i've been praying about some things and i feel like this is part of the answer that the Lord is giving me. i'm not going to give up ☺
