Hi

I want to grow in my Christian life. I have started to go to church even though I didn't originally see why I needed to and it has given me a thirst. I love going but would now like to find a study group as I really desire to hear God's word.

Church is amazing for me. I go for the bible reading and then the sermon/explanation of it but I eagerly desire more. People to share with. I love reading here but I really love being around people too. I have many non-christian friends and although I can share my beliefs with them, I want to hear others wisdom so I can learn more. I want to find fellowship.

So I ask if you could possibly pray I might find somewhere to learn soon. I think there is a group at church but I'm far too shy to ask about it. Worried it might be a click and I know few people at church, even though it is a warm place to be.

I'll definately pray for you and dont worry about a click in the church. Just ask go sit and listen if their words dont line up with scripture then you will know if its right for you . Sounds to me like the LORD wants you to get into a bible study, and dont forget satain will always try to keep you from learning more about Gods Word. You should find that by going you will meet new people have a realy good time and learn more about scripture.... Blessings........Jim

Does the Bible study you become a part of have to be in person?

I have been needing one or more online Bible buddies, to delve into & discuss God's Word with (due to physical disabilities I am unable to drive to a local one).

I will definately encourage you to be brave and join that Bible study goup you have at your local church. You know what, Bible study groups helps one to grow spiritualy. This is because in a group, you are able to ask questions that have been troubling your mind. In short you learn more in a group. Please dont be shy with the word of God, hurry and join now.

Secondly, i will also advise you to have many Christian friends than non believers. The christian friends will help in prayers whenever you are pasing through storms.
