    ex smoker needs help

    Hi Folks,
I need help, prayer, for a long time I smoked cigarettes, I am now in my second year without smoking but they have done my body some damage. My heart has been effected and my blood flow doesn't seem to be very good either. I have repented of smoking now.
There quite a few unfulfilled prophetic words from the Lord over my life. It would be sad if the devil was allowed to glory in my untimely end.
One of the Lord's silly sheep,
    Tonyb

    Be faithful brother.

    1 John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

    Hi Tonyb,

I was a smoker when I accepted the Lord and He removed it from me completely, - after two weeks was the first time I realized, when someone else pointed it out, that I hadn't had a cigarette! That was over 10 years ago.

I share this to encourage you to pray for the obsession to be lifted - He can and will. Also, this is not the way He always chooses to work and I have had friends who have struggled, but have been faithful. One in particular, we ate Blow Pops and Tootsie Roll Pops together when he was going through rough spots. It sounds silly but it helped him a great deal and cheered him up too, because its fun.

May God bless you and deliver you!
    :)

Thanks for praying for me fellowservant. I've never really been overweight, I think if I am it will only be by about 4 or 5 lbs. I think what we are looking at here is a touch of angina. I don't get severe chest pains but if work moderately
hard it feels as if a big hand encloses it's self around my heart and squeezes it.

I have had a revelation of divine healing but I've lost ground there a bit and I finding difficult to make a firm stand.

    Thanks again for your help.

Hi brother greater is he that is in you than he that in the world. The Devil will not touch you until your Father allows him; death will not touch you until your Father requires of your soul. Be strong in Jesus!

Hi Tonyb. Well done for quitting. That is awesome. God delivered me from smoking and other self destructive habits, but yes sometimes we still have to deal with the aftermath of those things. The pains you are getting is just probably your body getting rid of all those years of toxins.

Your lungs are probably saying thanks Tony exactly what I needed

Believe that Jesus is healing your body. Sometimes we don't get instantaneous healings. sometimes it is a gradual process. Either way they are both divine and miraculous!!

Lord bless Tonyb may his breathing becomes easier and easier each day that every clear breath of fresh air he take flows through his body , Lord you can see inside Tonyb's lungs, I ask you to touch those areas that need your touch ,shine your light there. Heal all the little hairs, all the cells , the membranes. Only you Lord can do this. I ask you in your Holy name. Thank you Jesus.

    Hi Heather,

You have really blessed and encouraged me. I've taken what you wrote and prayed as being of the Lord and it is something my faith can run with. Thankyou. Gosh, you meet some nice people on these posts.

    Yours in Christ
    Tony.

Amen: i agree with calluna... we have to believe that after we pray, God will, or is, answering that prayer.

Jam 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jam 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Jam 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

I have you on my prayer list, will be praying for you.

    God bless

AMEN and AMEN, Heather! Yes, Lord! I agree with Heather's prayer Lord and thank you for Tony's deliverance from smoking and the healing you are doing in his body! PRAISE YOU LORD! In Jesus' name...AMEN!

Hey, Tonyb and everyone else, I would like to ask you guys to pray for my husband who has yet to believe/claim the victory God has given him over his smoking! He hasn't relinquished his smoking completely to the Lord yet and continues to struggle in the flesh over it. I know he has to believe that the Lord can deliver him from this. Thanks!
