I just recently got laid off my job. I interviewed for this position yesterday that seemed very promising. The manager seemed like he wanted to hire me but he had to interview more people. There is a manager in training and an associate position. He just didnt know where to put me. It will be about a week or 2 before I even find something out.

I have prayed to God about it and put it in his hands. I do trust him fully. My question is, Should I just wait to hear from this guy or should I try to find other jobs in case this one falls through? I do trust God but I have a family to be responsible to and I dont want something to fall through and not have any other offers.

First, I think you meant, " he DIDN"T know where to put you' not, 'didn't want to know'. LOL. I think you should give it a few days and let God be God. Give Him a chance to work things out for you and wait on him. I'm not saying you should just sit around and twiddle your thumbs, but, you just did the interview yesterday. God will let you know...
