    God's promise guestion

    hi
does anyone know if we need to act on God's promises? like for example God says something will happen, how do we know if there's condition? only through prayer?
or would Lord tells us immediately if there was condition?
and if we need to act to fulfill the promise?

I trust in Jesus every day....from the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same. I do not have to worry about anything because I know "He cares for me" I do not worry, or question "His eye is on the sparrow....so I know He watches me"

So it is with you also. You are secure in Jesus.....

Go about your business, give of your best, trusting in Him....you will prosper.

Jesus said "I am the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE"......Without the WAY there is no GOING, without the TRUTH there is no KNOWING without the LIFE there is no LIVING....Thats what Jesus said.

There are times, seasons and places in life where a promise will specifically fit. Brother Stephen had it right, we live by faith in Christ and we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. It is He who tells us when, where and how to move.
Psa 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

all you gotta do is obey. Rom_4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

    Hello Jari.

    Hope your well.

As usual I am a bit slow in understanding your
    original post.

Could you explain it with a bit more for me.

    Thanks Jari.
    Deal with it.

    Hi Jari,

    James 2:17-26

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello Jari.

You are a spiritual creation in Christ.

If you talk the talk, you must walk the walk.

The talk is the confession of Jesus Christ.

The walk is the works that God has designed
into humanity for us to do.

Because you are a spiritual creation in Christ
it means by necessity that you have already died.

Now that you are alive in Christ how do you talk
    and how do you walk.

This spiritual creation is justified and created by
God, it cannot commit works relating to salvation
    that would be a paradox.
    Deal with it.

i believe that most of God His promises are conditional, we must act on His promise by faith just like we need to repent of our sins to receive His forgiveness that is an action from us.

    Take care,

    And another thing...

we are saved unto good works and not saved by our good works.
