I see many young people around this city I live near who actually do dishonor their parents by simple ignorant selfishness. Not even deliberately, but by neglegence. What are their lives like, as they work and grind and strivea and compete for a story book life? Well, I see chaos in their lives, sickness, divorce, bankruptcies, and no peace, no prosperity of any kind. Well ...no prosperity that the bank doesn't own anyway.
There it is....Obedience and honor parents and prosper. Or disobey and dishonor your parents and the curse of sin will
land on you. Why? You've stepped out from under GODs protection into the darkness of sin. Its in the darkness that the monsters live you know.

So you shall purge the evil from your midst, and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
