Given the same author's paradigm shift, about Jesus Christ, from the human to the divine (2 Cor. 5:16), the "man Christ Jesus" can hardly be the gate. Or can he?

Your post is a bit confusing may i ask you a question?

A simple yes or no will do please...

Do you personally believe that Jesus Christ Came as GOD in the flesh on earth and that GOD Himself walked amongst men here on earth?

Do you believe that yes or no?

While you would be most correct that Jesus Christ is no gate!! Yet Jesus who from the cross which I believe is our gate, opens to the path we are to follow, the Man Christ Jesus. If you would for a moment consider, just consider this thought I have. Matt 7:13-29 Spoken of earlier in this thread.

Before we can get to the gate,we must first open the door to see the gate.Rev 3:20 And before we can open the door,we must first hear the knock. This comes by this( Rom 10:15-17) Someone is knocking,we usually have to be told someone is.So now that you have been told, you decide, ok, I will open the door. This is done because you wish to know more of not just why he is knocking, but for what purpose to you as well.As you open the door, there is a large cross before you.

This is the narrow gate.( Matt 7:14) Narrow because of the blood shed, few will follow, because few wish to die to themselves in order to follow. If one is bold enough to say I will follow. The cross is removed, and before you is Jesus. He is smiling at you,and you begin from this point to the very time of your death in the flesh,to both learn what love truly is,and!! learn, the true cost in following him.Just HIM!

As you follow, you are tempted, by many around you. Things that have sparkle to the eyes, such as wealth,or goods, perhaps women,or if you are a woman, men. These are paths off of the narrow road you follow. And you can if you wish, go there. But we find by going over there, we lose sight of who we said we are going to follow. And when despair finds us, we cry out why? We blame the person, we ourselves have decided not to follow anymore.

Now our pride is hurt, but see, this is just one lesson on the narrow road we follow. We also find out just what the real cost to follow Jesus truly is! Our flesh does hurt many times! Our mind can grow tired, because we forget what was so clear to us at the start of our following.

The disciples also had this problem, they to at the start were willing to follow, until they knew the cost!( matt 26:56) To follow means,to be with one till the end. A great example of this is made in the Old Testemant. Elisha following of Elijah!( 1 Kings 19) Elisha said let me kiss my mother and father first, then I will follow you. Now take a quick look at the disciples of the new, when they said to Jesus Let me first go and bury my dead before I follow you. ( Matt 8:21-22) Jesus said to him, let the dead bury there own dead!

Yet another disciple said Jesus, let me first say goodby to those at home! Jesus said NO ONE after putting his hand to the plow and looking back,is fit for the kingdom of God.( Luke 9:61-62) Following is hard on the flesh is it not?? Now back to Elisha's ministry.

Much you see happened before this! But in 2 Kings 2 we see what true following truly is!! Elijah said to Elisha verse 2 stay here in Bethel. Elisha said As the Lord lives I will not leave you! See a path off the narrow road.number 1. then a little further down the narrow road,People were tellling our friend Elisha that your master will be taken from you today.Elisha said yes I know, be still!( verse 3)

Yet another path off the narrow road came to sight! Elijah said stay in Jericho.Nope! again in Jordan,NOPE! NOW!!!! the reward for following till the end!!verse 9-11 He saw, he received! So will we if we follow till the end!

To receive anything from the Lord,we must follow him long enough to receive, for if a man leaves, how can he ever know the reward for staying? This is what an overcomer truly is! Talked about more times in Rev then in any other book of the Bible!! Must be a very good reason for this!! Rev 2:7,11,17,26 Rev 3:5,12,21 and finally Rev 21:7!

The longer we stay on the narrow road, the more we are tempted off of it.Do you know why this is? Because the devil knows, what one receives for following till the end! We never will unless we stay!! And follow till the end becoming!!! a TRUE OVERCOMER IN!!!!! JESUS CHRIST!! The first to overcome the devil! What better teacher is there, then our Jesus?? LOL None to me bro!

Apparently a primary word (compare “door”); a portal or entrance (the opening or the closure, literally or figuratively): - door, gate.

(Joh 10:7) Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door(thoo'-rah) of the sheep.

Blessing to you littlelight, which does not seem so little to me! I am most thankful to the Lord! It really is his wisdom, and never ours, that can change our life, always for the better!

Thanks so much, for telling me,you have no idea how much it means when someone is so encouraged! It is not only why Jesus was sent here, but why we are as well.To have love one for another through HIM! To be a blessing to others, cannot be measured!! Thanks again!!

    (John 14: 6, 18-21; 16: 25-26)
Joh 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:17 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Acts 4:10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead--by this name this man stands here before you in good health.
Acts 4:11 "He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone.
Acts 4:12 "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."

John 14:6 Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

1Tim2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

1Jn 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Jesus is the only way to Heaven, there is no other way.

    YES!

I am extremely privileged to know personally Jesus Christ both as human and as God through his unique death on the cross. PTL.
