John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
Is this an end time event?
How does the "now is" fit in all these doctrines?
Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Ok we have something that is not and yet is.
Is means "now",I know this because Jesus IS the resurrection,the day,the light,the life,the way.etc..
It seems to me that resurrection is possible to individuals "now is"which leads me to believe the son of perdition is probably not a single character in a neat timeline all nice and tidy for our human understanding. We may be surprised by who he actually is.Just as we might be suprised who the dead really are.
Hey aren't we supposed to be dead, buried, resurrected and seated in heavenly places with Christ "now is"?
John 12:31 "Now is" the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
Are we waiting for this event?
