The Tallit is used only for Morning prayer on all days of the week. It's not used in the afternoon or night time prayer.
It would not be used to minister with if keeping with Jewish traditions, but morning prayer.
I knew a pastor that used a Shofar seven times before he started each service. Not sure what the purpose was, but he seemed to like that.
aside from draping the tallit on for morning prayer, not sure what other use it would be, or even why it is needed for morning prayer but to keep warmer.
Interesting though:
When Jesus said Talitha Cumi, "Girl arise" some Believe it means... Girl in the Tallit, arise. Her issue of Blood was dried up.
This is interesting because Jesus did not heal her personally, She grabbed onto that cloth that was filled with his anointing, as we know cloth can carry God's anointing on it. This is also the same reason my Pastor does not let others handle his clothes.
Smith Wigglesworth did the same thing, sleeping in a mans bed for the night. When he came back home and laid in his bed, the man fell to the floor repenting. It was that anointing in those bed sheets.
Paul had his handkerchiefs, which drove out disease.
Thank you brother mike ..any Knowalge is welcome..i can say that there is a definate anoiting on it ..you can feel it at the touch sounds strange i Know.. But MY GOD can do all things and use all things to His Glory..i look forward to all replys on this tallit and its use...Rev
