All comments welcome.
1 Peter 1:6-7
6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
7 These have come so that your faith— of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire— may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed.
><> ><> I think probably world wide.
Our faith; whether 'mustard seed' size or other, is being tested to see if it is genuine ie. not of mans making.

2 Peter 1
1 Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:
><> That wonderfull & fulfilling grace gift.
2Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
Making One's Calling and Election Sure
><> <>< 'One's calling''== a personal relationship in it's fullest with Jesus & therefore our God. ''Our election'' to be firm & fully established.
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
><> As Mark Driscoll suggests, add to our diet of faith those suppliments that we need for our very life & existance.
5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;
6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
7 and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.
8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But if anyone does not have them, he is short-sighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
10 Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall,
11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
><> We are the land in which God has sown His seed. Our work is to add ''these things''
1)What do you believe to be the call of God over your life specifically?
><> To stand in the gap for the group/body/people listern to what God says to me first or to others. to back up those in a leadership role. To be as Jesus to those who don't know Him. (This I do badly)
2)How do you come to this conclusion?
><> Practise, experience, & the confirmation of leaders & others.
3)Or have you disqualified yourself or allowed the past to be a reason for not grabbing hold of the call.?
><> Yes at times lacking in confidence, the weight of my conscienceness of sins stain.
 God wants spiritual fruit not religious nuts. xxx
