Perhaps this is just my preference, but I would rather hear a man speaking from the pulpit.
I have sat under women preachers, one imparticular comes to mind, as I totally disagreed with something she stated, and later took it up with her by writing to her as it happened in another country from were I live.

She said 'Just like you and I the Lord Jesus made mistakes.'
Now I disagree, He is perfect how could he make mistakes, He would have been 'wrong' at times, that's what she implied, and we don't read them in our bible.
She didn't happen to name them, when I challenged her on it she couldn't but she would not change what she said either.

She had many in that congregation that Sunday morning believing those words, as I could see some nodding in agreement.

I just avoid women clergy.

Ladies Meetings are differant, they are women speaking to women, they do not call themselves Pastors or Clergy or want recognised as such, very informal.

Do any of you think that it matters to God if the Muslims allow women preachers or if the Mormons or Jehovah Witnesses allow women pastors or preachers?

The answers have been so valuable to me. I had been so challenged and condemned recently about being a 'woman' wanting to speak (verbally or in type) about my beloved Jesus...that I almost thought I should not post on these forums.

Here is the way I see it ?
God does not want women lording over men.

If we are walking and living though our Spirit ? We are equal And if she is led by the HOLY GHOST she can preach !

Because ,Our Spirit is higher than our Flesh.
Because ,GOD can speak though any !

in the flesh ,We are different .
in the spirit ,we are not.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
This scripture means we walk in and though OUR Spirit !

Our Spirit is a heavenly being , it is a priest and king . it does not matter the kind of body it is in , in this world .it is the True eternal person!

There are no women in the spirit! All of us are the same in our spirit!


Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.


this is Our Spirit we are to live though

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

This is Every person ,BORN of GODS spirit !

1Pe 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.



but there are rules toward the flesh.
1Pe 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

But if we are living though our spirit? and being led by the HOLY GHOST the flesh rules will not count!

1Pe 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

I guess either no one has an opinion of what matters to God or no one cares to discuss it and get to the crux of the topic.

I know the LORD prefers to work though the man .
He only picked men and He counts a man higher .

Still, He will work though any willing!
