but 2 cases i cant understand
in Old testment
1. Adam and Eve's family
they the first couple in the world, so if their son wanted to have a baby, he had to mate with his sister or mother.( so disgusting)
2.Noah's family
the only family once left in the world. he had 3 sons, so if his grandchildren wanted to have children, they had to mate with their relatives.( still disgusting)

But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.

Hello again jesusisthegod.

Both families existed before God gave His will to the people about marriage laws. the laws came later. God did not forbid marrying relatives until much later.

It is true they married there relatives but they had to do this to increase the population of the world.

thank you very much, but i am shocked. all the people are sinners.definately, no body is good in the world then, after i know that.

Thats why Jesus came So that sinners could be saved.

I agree with what Adstar said. What we precieve as "disgusting" today is all because of the Fall. Before Adam and Eve sinned, they were commanded to "be fruitful and multiply." That implies their sons and daughters marrying each other and their sons and daughters and so on. But after the Fall, everthing changed, including our genes, which ultimately results in death. Before it would've been okay to have intermarriage of brothers and sisters without any harmful effect. After the Fall, as we can prove with science today, such marriages are dangerous when it comes to their children. That's why God later on prohibited this type of marriage in His Law. Noah was before the law, and it could possibly be that such genetic mutations required several generations to have its full negative effects, and possibly Noah was still in the "safe period," so to speak. (Plus, he and his descendents had to populate the earth!)
