May God bless you for your interest in the nation of Israel.Most christians are totally oblivious of bible prophecy, which is THE MAJOR FEATURE that sets the bible apart from most "holy" books.Even Shia & Sunni Islam borrows heavily from this notion of a messiah "who is to come"-they call him the Mahdi,who will establish a 7 year "hunta"(truce-not peace!) with Israel.

I am awaiting Daniel's prophecy where Israel will "annoint the most holy."It can be the most holy place or the most holy "Son of David".

I happen to come from a Kenyan clan whose ancestors are believed to be Falashim(african jews from Egypt.) There goes another prophecy fulfillment!
