Hello, Sweetcheeks66, welcome to TalkJesus. I have two suggestions regarding the situation you are praying about:

#1 - Make sure (through petition to God) that what you are praying for is His will for you.

#2 - When you are praying according to His will, follow Jesus' advice from Matthew 17:20

"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to
this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible
for you."

Most people are clueless about the power of faith in God. They equate having faith with wishing for something.Wishing has nothing to do with faith. If you know for certain that what you are praying for is God's will for you and you decide on a daily basis that you believe it will happen, it will happen - in God's time. If you don't know for certain that it is His will for you, see step #1.
