Hello my Brother... - 08-13-08, 11:42 AM

First let me start by saying that I will pray for you. It sounds like the Holy Spirit has given you the gift of prophecy. This is a very scary and difficult gift to understand and develop, but remember, it IS from the Spirit of God and as such will bring glory and honor to His kingdom. He will give you the answers you are seeking. Prayer and Meditation.
As for the meaning of the trees and the enormous telephone pole... These might be a metaphor for us in our walk with Christ. Think of Peter if you will, during the last supper he pridefully boasted that he "would never deny Him"... that "he would follow Him even to death!" From this we know that no matter how righteous we may feel about ourselves, God know our hearts. From the life of Peter we can learn that no matter how good we think we're doing, there is always the lingering possibility of failure.
Like your telephone pole... the appearance was that it was strong, solid, and unbreakable. Yet compared to the righteousness of God it is nothing more than thousands of tiny slivers.
As for the lashings to your back, did they occur before or after you proclaimed the coming of our Messiah? It might be that the real pain you felt from them might signify the suffering we must endure as part of our walk with Him. We know from His word that we WILL endure trials, tribulations, pain, and suffering for our Lord, as He had to endure for our sins. Praise God that we can rejoice in our sufferings that it will bring us into a closer relationship with Him.
As I said before, it sounds like the Spirit gave you the gift of prophecy. He did not do this to confuse you so I'm sure He will provide you with all the answers and interpretations you seek.
Glory to His Kingdom and blessings to you.
