How very true it is for us to be constantly on the lookout. A few years ago, I was invited to a ladies retreat held by a neighboring christian church. The first thing they said about the teacher was that she learned many new things from an eagle that came into her dreams. It immediately made me think of a spirit guide.
The fact that she wanted to talk about dream interpretation didn't help. The few things listed on the brochure about interpretation (if you had a flat tire in your dream, it means you're going against the Holy Spirit, for instance) was not correct in a dream I had that included a flat tire (the enemy had done it).

So I did not go to the retreat.
