Everything he described is carnal behavior and these pathways lead to religious mindset rather than becoming spiritually minded. I found it very typical that he associated most of the categories with "going to church" or "during church", implying that one must attend religious liturgy in order to relate to Father. This kind of teaching does not promote spiritual growth. Denying self, taking up your cross in submission to HolySpirit is the only path to spiritual maturity. Being a Christ follower is not about finding a way that you are well suited for or comfortable with, it's about becoming crucified. Read brother Paul's letters, he taught differently. I have not read the book, but by what I have seen posted in this thread, there's no need.
I don't think the author expected people to follow everything he says, a lot of what we go through in life causes us to have our own opinions about things that happen, and the way it happens. No matter what we say or do, there will always be people like this. Now should we condemn them for it and say it's no good, and their completely wrong? Absolutely not, I'm not sure what you were saying but I'm not trying to say you were condemning the author, we should approach it as, that person is an individual, and whether other people agree with him is up to them.

But, I understand your point, it doesn't seem like he's promoting the gospel as much as he's trying to promote spiritual paths, granted we've only seen a snippet of what's in his book. I'm not going to judge, but I think God uses our character, who we've become, and he'll use whatever He can, no matter who you are, we are each individuals, and we have our own area's of specialty, to say we don't doesn't make sense. Everyone thinks differently we can't expect everyone to be on the same page as us. We just have to be patient, and carefully rebuke things not scriptural or of God.

God bless.
