Hi. My question is this- if a married man and woman are separated, how then (or does this ) same teaching apply? I have recently became a Christian, and my husband is not. He does believe there is a God but he does not put faith into the Lord as far as I know. Whenever the subject is brought up, my husband gets an attitude that "What has God done for me?". I sometimes think he knows The Lord is there and does do things for him, only he is too proud to admit he himself needs the Lords help. I was saved but not dedicated to our Lord and did not dedicate myself to the Lord or to trying to be one to bring glory to Him until after I made my husband leave our home. Now- as a result of all of this, my husband will not come home because he thinks because we didnt get along before now, why should it be any different now? I say it is because I have the Lord on my side now but my husband doesnt think it is possible that we would be so lucky as to have a good marriage even through the Lord. So how does the above teaching apply to me in this situation? I do pray for my husband to turn to the Lord- at the very least, come home so I can be an example to him through the grace of God. As it is now, I cant be anything to him- I rarely see him and only occasionally speak to him by phone.
Thank You in advance.
Wendy
