I am a musician myself and I like dealing with questions like yours.
Well!! Like somebody mentioned ...MUSIC IS FROM GOD..... ALL GENRES OF MUSIC> Intended to worship God.

I can enjoy beautiful traditional hymns and heavy rock and life metal alike.

A lot of issues come when Christian musicians try to mimic secular artists. Like you said "crashing the guitar on the ground". I believe that excellence should flow from the church. The world should learn a few tips from the church. We should set the standards! But often times we see the other way round. We beg for good music from the secular world. We compromise on excellence.

Pls don't consider rock music as demonic. It is not. Like that famous quote " WHY SHOULD THE DEVIL HAVE ALL THE GOOD MUSIC."

It's the unskillful and compromising on standards that make music demonic.
