rizen1 thank you my sister. Your enlightenment, methinks, is second to none in recent years. I have been striving to get people to focus on the Gospels as presented in a real bible, of which i must do research on the most commonly used bibles. I use the red letter KJV edition with the Greek & Hebrew study guides and a Strong's dictionary. This one I believe is still the most accurate as it was translated and composed from original Hebrew manuscripts. In the NAM there is also Scientology, it has taken the power brokers form Hollywood and the literary world by storm. It is based one the works of L. Ron Hubbard's self-help books, who's keynote book is Dianetics. It is only a a book on self awareness only and as a religion deletes both God and Jesus. Thus focusing on one's self to the exclusion of all else much like Buddhism. There is my 2 cents worth ... lol
We as Christians must now always only focus our lives as Jesus focused his. The Gospels are the Torah, the Laws of God or the 1st 5 books of the Old Testament. Jesus told us we must live by the Gospels for that reason. They are the Laws of God lived day by day. Faith based works, I know you have all heard that works without faith are dead; but we seldomly hear this that faith without works fosters hypocrisy, I grew up to understand the phrase "do as I say, not as I do". Jesus' life was based solely on "Faith based Works". That is way He was so specific on the second most important commandment from God, "Love your neighbour as yourself" or, how you want to be treated by others is the way you must treat others. It is a very selfless way to live and very difficult, but must be done.
This is the only way to return the fundamental understanding of Christianity back to the Ministry of Christ and out of the hands of men and man-made doctrine.
