Yes, the beast that ascends from the bottomless pit.
And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
Five have fallen:
Julius Caesar
Augustus
Tiberius
Caligula
Claudius
One is:
Nero
And one is to come:
anti-christ
And the eighth?
Many scholars have speculated about whom this eight king is, according to the word, the eighth king is of the seven kings.
And his number is 666.
Using the Hebrew gematria, which is the number system of the Hebrew language, Nero is only one of the seven that equates to 666.
Another interesting thing the Lord showed me, was in Daniel 9, it speaks of the prince of the people destroying the city and the temple.
Daniel 9:26-27
26."And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27.Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate."
Here we have the prince of the people, after Messiah has been cut off, which after the resurrection of our precious Lord was Nero, but then in the next verse he makes a covenant for 7 years but then engages in the abomination of desolation after 3 1/2 years.
Historically, Nero did not do this, so it must be speaking of a future king.
Daniel 7:7-8
7."After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.
8."I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.
Revelation 13:3
3.And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.
If we were to lay all of this on the table it becomes apparent that the ten kings rise up to power, they destroy Harlot Babylon, three of the kings conspire to kill the anti-christ, realizing the guy is out of his mind, Satan calls Nero from the pit of hell to take over the anti-christs body and resume his destruction, then the three conspiritors are put to death.
Then the time of Jacobs trouble begins.
Remember:
Daniel 9:24
24."Seventy weeks(Shib' iym Shabua' - Figuratively Seventy Seven) are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.
Daniel 9:24 and 9:25 are actually two prophecies that both depict when our Lord Jesus will be riding through Jerusalem on an Equine.
We do not know the DAY or the HOUR, but brothers and sisters we are VERY close.
